Until recently the only option for a bad control board was to replace it, which meant a very expensive repair or even the decision to scrap your unit.
Good news! We are now offering testing and repair of control boards.
What does this mean?
For service call repairs it means a lower repair bill and for the do-it-yourselfer it will help to pinpoint your problem before you needlessly purchase an expensive part.
How does it work?
For in shop repairs, you will need to bring in your control board, display (keypad)and wiring diagram (usually found inside the console), pay a non-refundable $40 diagnostic fee and we will have it fully tested and diagnosed. If the unit is repairable we will contact you with the repair estimate which is usually significantly less than the cost of a new one. We will even apply the diagnostic fee to the repair.
For in home service repairs the technician will remove the appropriate parts and bring them into our shop for repair. No diagnostic fee is charged when done as part of a service call.
How long will it take to get my part back?
On average we should be able to have your control board repaired within two business days.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, your repaired control board has a 90 day warranty (the same as a new one). All of our genuine OEM parts also carry the manufacturers warranty of 90 days.
